Welcome to the National Congress of Black Women, Incorporated, San Gabriel Valley Chapter’s website. We sincerely appreciate you learning more about the organization as we continue to acknowledge the importance of partnerships for their long-term commitment to creating avenues of opportunity for the next generation and supporting the improvement and economic development of our communities.
The National Congress of Black Women, Inc., San Gabriel Valley Chapter (NCBW-SGVC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to fulfilling the mission of the national organization and serving the needs of the community in which it is established. The San Gabriel Valley Chapter serves San Gabriel Valley and the surrounding areas by engaging and empowering families of all races through educational and cultural development. The chapter includes members from San Gabriel Valley, Inland Empire, Pasadena and Altadena. In addition, the San Gabriel Valley’s NCBW Youth Chapter serves to educate, develop, and inspire young women as intellectual leaders within their communities.
This is an exciting time to be a part of the National Congress of Black Women. As we celebrate serving the communities of San Gabriel Valley, we are also celebrating the first youth chapter youth who have made the commitment to persevere and further their education not only for self-betterment but also for the betterment of our communities. As the San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the National Congress of Black Women, Inc., the 33 year-old non-partisan, nonprofit organization, we are raising awareness in support of NCBW-SGVC community service programs to specially target the needs of our community.
Although there are many program initiatives we bring to our communities, we are extremely proud of joining the fight for the eradication of slavery and human trafficking; our commitment to the Foster Care Project by presenting birthday gifts monthly; and the addition of youth programs focusing on preparing our children for a future in rapidly emerging STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and math).
Thank you to our NCBW-SGVC members for their continued support; and the many organizations and corporations who continue to contribute to the NCBW Program Initiatives.
We look forward to your continued participation and support of the National Congress of Black Women, Incorporated, San Gabriel Valley Chapter and extend a thank you to all our new members and potential members of this outstanding organization!
